Dinosaur Feathers.

This band opened for Neon Indian in the basement of
Webster Hall. That's where Ben and I gravitated for most
of the evening because of the $4 beer differentials between
floors ($3 Basment/$7 Main Floor/$11 Concert Hall). They
were surprisingly good for a unknown opener who did not
even get their name on the billing. They started out with
a three man ensemble and continued to grow, inviting
a pair of back-up vocalists and a violinist.

Anyways, they are worth a listen. They head out today
on a 5 week tour of the country ending in SXSW to
promote their new album "Fantasy Memorials".

The Violinist clearly won.
