BBC had one of these Shanghai Forever
bikes that was about as ubiquitous as
people and dirty air out in Shanghai. The
guy would not fully commit to a story
about how this came into his possession,
but he did attempt to sell it to me for
$400.
The rod brakes made it tempting, but I
told him if he ever came across a China
Post bike with full racks and panniers,
he would have a buyer.
